How to set up email notifications?

This article will guide you to set up email notifications in your NVR.

1. Enable Email Notification in NVR

Right click your mouse on the screen that is connected to the NVR, then click System setting- Camera Setting, Check the box in front of Email for each camera. As shown in below picture.

2. Complete the email settings in NVR

 2.1 Login your email account. Generate a one-time App password for your NVR. As shown in below pictures.

Go to your email account's Account Security section.

 

Scroll down the page to find App Password. Click Generate app password.

 

Enter your app's name, for example, NVR. Click Generate password.

 The one-time app password has been generated. Copy this password and fill it in your email settings in the NVR.

 

2.2 Then click Email Settings, you'll be directed to the Email Setting interface. Fill in the parameters and test it.

 After fill in all the parameters, click Send Test Email

If it shows Test Success, then your settings are correct, and you'll be able to receive email notifications. 

While if it shows Test failed, check your settings again, or contact us at support@yeewise.com.
